I was watching TV recently and a thought came to mind. Pop Culture-wise the U.S. is known for its TV shows, Hollywood movies, and Hip-hop movement, Japan is known for its Hello Kitty! and cutesy-cutesy Sanrio-stuff, anime and manga, and pop musicians clad in outlandish costumes, India's known for Bollywood, and Taiwan for its boyband and soap opera imports. So where does that exactly leave us? The general trend nowadays seem to go the route of copycat TV shows, actors entering politics, and a sprinkling of art movies. Wow. We definitely have to do something about that.
