Before cutting my hair the other night my barber suggested to me to try sporting a semi-kal look for summer ("semi-bald" or "semi-kalbo" in the colloquial, leaving around 2-3 millimeters of hair). I begged off and bid for more time to think about it. Although a couple of friends have been suggesting before that I try it (and though the thought did enter my mind) I'm not sure if I do have guts to walk around for a good two months with what could be a huge mistake on my part. I'm hesitating from doing so because of two things, first of all when I first asked my barber his opinion some four or five years ago he told me I probably didn't have a smooth, not lumpy or bumpy, skull so it probably wouldn't be a good idea to have one, and second, I'm not sure if it would be me. I did imagine myself sporting it on the way out of the barber shop and it was sorta good. There was a 50/50 chance that I'd do it, but it was a different story when I put it on paper by sketching myself sporting that haircut. It looked really weird so it's back to zero again. I dunno.
