I made that thing up about ground bones for the Scrabble shake-thing. It's probably made up of ground egg-shells just like the ones that were supposedly used for Orange Julius before. I don't drink or buy that stuff anymore for sanitary reasons. I'm also not fond of the powdery aftertaste whenever you finish it.

Staying here at Queens and surfing at the public library. This is the only internet access I have right now. We arrived yesterday 12:25 pm in New Jersey.

I'll be missing the Komikon this Saturday owing to the trip we'll be making to New York later. Oh well, there's always next year. I wonder how it'll turn out.

I'm beginning to get the hang of showing bits and pieces of individual characteristics of these characters. That's BJ grumping about comic book geeks (I failed to include his name in the strip again).

* Just in case someone misses the point: "All points are expressed as individual opinions. The opinions expressed in the strip do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the author. The author does not endorse any opinions expressed in the strip."

A clutter of inspirations and what-nots.

A behind-the-scenes preview of what goes on with talking to event organizers. I'm returning the favor to my friend who has been featuring me in his strip numerous times in the past. Hehe.

I dreamed that actor John Goodman went on a three-day tour around these parts. Memorabilias including original props from his TV shows and articles for different publications were spread out on tables covered with white and butter-yellow fabrics inside this Manila Hotel-type large dining room turned display area. He was wearing a dark blue suit accompanied who I presumed to be the general manager. He signed autographs for all those interested fans but there was an exhausted look on his face. He didn't talk much and just posed for pictures and signed autographs. And although I am a huge fan of this guy, I surprised myself the whole thing wasn't even that huge a deal for me. On the last day I went in and tried to get an autograph for reasons that I needed to at least get a souvenir. Someone told me that he was in a meeting at the time so I waited. After what seemed like hours he still wasn't back and for some reason I knew that he had already gone. The waiters in charge of the place were already changing everything and before they did I manage to grab a few newspaper clippings and went out.

I didn't know what happened after that because our dog woke me up by repeatedly scratching the door to my room wanting to get in.
